The History of the Mayflower Voyage.

The Mayflower Marina Plymouth shares its name with the historic Mayflower Ship that departed from local shores in 1620.

The journey of the Mayflower’s intrepid pilgrim passengers is set to take centre stage once again in 2020, which will mark the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower Ship from Plymouth UK to Plymouth Massachusetts.

Through the Mayflower400 programme, Plymouth along with other communities across the UK, US and Netherlands is commemorating the legacy of the passengers and crew who undertook the journey and will be highlighting their stories and heritage.
